How it works

Some charities already receive donations though Facebook from a limited set of charitable giving tools. Completing the application process allows us to properly verify a charity’s status to give eligible organizations access to more charitable giving tools and features while continuing to receive their donation payouts through Network for Good.

Tools to Collect Donations

Use these charitable giving tools to fundraise from your

  • Supporter Fundraisers

    Facebook Fundraisers let people raise money to benefit your registered nonprofit on Facebook. Your supporters can set up a dedicated Page to share their story, tell others about your organization’s mission and rally around a fundraising goal.

  • Post Donate Button

    Fundraisers give people the tools to get the word out through Facebook, Messenger, live video and email, all in a place that their friends already visit every day.

  • Live with Donate Button

    Your supporters can now add a Donate button to live videos on Facebook. Your supporters can share their story, tell others about your organization’s mission and why they care.
